A look at sustainability – New life in the past
Newstalgia is a trend that looks to the future with great flair. Renewing, bringing to a new life is a special mood, that passes through creative recycling and SITAP Upcycling carpet collection, conceived by Barbara Trombatore for Salone del Mobile in Milan 60th Edition. Regenerated rugs, born from pure wool ancient turkish hand-knotted rugs, today hand-sewn in a patchwork style and part of SITAP Carpet Couture Italia Alta Moda Collection sustainable carpet line. Newstalgia trend proposes them in a romantic style. Rebus rug is an example. Dreamy and ultra-feminine inspirations for a picnic on the grass kissed by a sunny September.
